Welcome to the website of Catalina 22 Fleet 4.
We are a recreational sailing organization based in Sacramento, CA, chartered on June 14, 1972, and organized to promote:
●Family Cruising  ●Catalina 22 One Design Racing
●Seamanship, boating safety, and small craft handling skills  ●Overall Sailing Enjoyment
Our bi-monthly Membership meetings are held at various locations in the Sacramento area. Our "home port" for sailing activities is Brown's Ravine Marina at Folsom Lake State Park, but we also schedule "away" cruises in San Francisco Bay, the Sacramento/San Joaquin River Delta, Monterey, and other, more distant locations like the San Juan and Gulf Islands.

CATALINA 22 FLEET 4 IS A SAILBOAT CLUB IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA.
THIS VIDEO IS INTENDED TO SHOW OTHER TRAILER SAILORS IN OUR AREA WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT! OWN A DIFFERENT SAILBOAT? NO PROBLEM, THERE ARE OTHER BOATS BESIDE CATALINA 22'S IN OUR CLUB. THINKING OF BUYING A SAILBOAT BUT DON'T KNOW HOW TO SAIL? WE HAVE MEMBERS WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO TEACH YOU. LOVE SAILING? COME JOIN US!!!

NOTE: UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, RACE VENUE IS FOLSOM LAKE
(RACING WILL BE CANCELLED WHEN LAKE ELEVATION FALLS BELOW 400 FEET)

AS OF APRIL 16, FOLSOM LAKE POND ELEVATION IS 447', AND IS BEING HELD AT THAT LEVEL BY BuREC. THE SLIPS AT BROWN'S RAVINE MARINA ARE OPEN,  SLIP RENTERS MAY CHECK THE MARINA WEB PAGE OR THE CDEC WEBSITE AT [http://cdec.water.ca.gov/dynamicapp/QueryF?s=fol] FOR THE WATER LEVEL REPORT. ALL SLIP RENTERS MUST REMOVE BOATS FROM SLIPS WHEN POND ELEVATION FALLS TO 412'. IT IS HOPED THAT THE MARINA WILL BE ABLE TO OPERATE THROUGH THE DATE OF THE BIGS AND LITTLES SAIL DAY, BUT THE SNOWPACK ONLY REACHED 50% OF NORMAL THIS WINTER, AND THE LAST SERIES OF STORMS WERE A "PINEAPPLE EXPRESS" THAT MELTED A LOT OF SNOW PREMATURELY, SO THE OPERATING SEASON IS UNLIKELY TO EXTEND MUCH PAST THE END OF JUNE.
